LUXIONA has had the pleasure of illuminating the newly opened "Spycimierskie Boże Ciało" Educational Center, a unique museum-educational facility dedicated to the tradition of creating floral carpets, inscribed on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage.
The state-of-the-art building, with an area of more than 1,000 square meters, offers a range of facilities for hosting international and domestic conferences, workshops, seminars and other events. The center's interactive spaces are equipped with state-of-the-art multimedia technology, including a 140-inch passive screen, multi-touch workshop table, gesture-controlled projections, virtual dressing rooms with a set of traditional folk costumes from the region, large-format photography, display cases with exhibits, touch screens and interactive floors.
For the Center's lighting, we selected energy-efficient and modern lighting fixtures perfectly matched to the project's objectives, providing exceptional general and accent lighting in the interactive spaces, conference rooms and two large exhibition halls on the lower floor, showcasing the tradition of floral carpet making around the world and its intangible cultural heritage.
Black LUMBO projectors mounted on rails and equipped with dimmable (DIM DALI controller) provide modern accent lighting, while X-LINE SLIM luminaires in the SURFACE version, with anti-glare louvers, provide comfortable and beautiful lighting in the exhibition workshop and conference rooms.
On the first floor, in turn, LUXIONA luminaires illuminate the workshop area, which, in addition to an eye-pleasing experience, provides a large dose of knowledge about local heritage, which has been on the prestigious UNESCO world list since 2021, but also about intangible heritage in general, bringing visitors closer to other traditions from the country and the world.
The newly opened center is a unique international venue, now illuminated by LUXIONA luminaires. We are proud to have the opportunity to collaborate on such a unique project.
